About us

Cwm Primary School and Nursery is a community primary school on Canning Street in the village of Cwm, Ebbw Vale. We welcome children aged 3 to 11, from their first days in nursery through to the end of Year 6.

Our motto is "Reach for the Stars" ("Anelu am y Sêr") and it shapes everything we do. We believe every child deserves to feel safe, happy and challenged, and that school should be somewhere children genuinely want to be.

We follow the Curriculum for Wales, and Welsh language and culture run through school life, you can read more on our curriculum page.
